A philosophical question.

star.JPGAm I attracted chiefly to brunettes with almond eyes and great eyelashes because they look like my mother, or because they look like me? And which is more disturbing, latent Oedipal tendencies or unrestrained narcissism?

I think the former is more disturbing than the latter.

Nah, it’s the latter, but nice try.

I guess that’d depend on your mother.

  4. chris Says:

Because they look like you. Duh.

  5. Robbie Says:

Is this some sort of self-pity thing where you try to find others that look like you and make them feel better about themselves by going for them?

‘Cause that’s what I would do, except I don’t really find people that look like me all that attractive. Not that I’d kick me out of bed, ’cause I most definitely would show me a good time, but, you know…

Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry starts dating his doppelganger.

“Is it gross to say you’d have sex with your identical twin?”

“I think it’s impractical. You’d know all your tricks and argue about who got to be the top.”

“And which is more disturbing, latent Oedipal tendencies or unrestrained narcissism?”

And this has to be one or the other?

  9. Flannery Says:

Wait a tick…I’m a brunette with almond eyes and great eyelashes…I’m your Mommy?!

  10. michael Says:

    No, you’re my sister.

  11. Flannery Says:

    Sweet, sweet twincest.
