Am I attracted chiefly to brunettes with almond eyes and great eyelashes because they look like my mother, or because they look like me? And which is more disturbing, latent Oedipal tendencies or unrestrained narcissism?

Is this some sort of self-pity thing where you try to find others that look like you and make them feel better about themselves by going for them?
